It is sometimes so delightful to wonder how COLORS affect us and nature in a solitary way. Every age group perceive COLORS in different way but it is very wonderful to know how Color is a powerful communication tool and can be used to signal action, influence mood, and even influence physiological reactions.

When you deal in Fashion, one of the most important thing that matters after design is colors. A dull grounded trail of fabric will never get more attention over a bright colored fabric.

With all the festivals coming across, I thought to put up this post now. This is definitely a dramatic look but this is what I love to do whenever I plan a post for you all. Being dramatic doesn't mean that it cannot be relatable and this is the beauty of this current post.
I am posting this within the Indian festival aura, which totally means welcoming all the colors and strength.
These festivals are all about fighting battles and emerging victorious over demons.
Before putting up a massive figure of the Goddess and worshiping her, we should put up our real ladies first, respect them, treat them equal and then greet the divine Goddess with this token. We see a lot of injustice still happening to women before, during and after the festival, which truly demeans the ideal celebration.
Start with ourselves, women around us, and with utter satisfaction of being respectful forever, greet the Goddess.

I curated this look with only thought- "I can be whatever & whoever I want to be!"
This is a pure amalgamation of sober, divine, beautiful, bold, quirky, and grounded.

To define Sober & Grounded, I'd love to talk about the outfit that I chose. I pulled out a sari from my mother's collection as it had perfect colors, perfect feel and perfect fall. This sari is a "Malmal cotton batik print" and generally cotton saris are categorized as decent and not for a party category outfit. But I totally disagree with this notion because not I have worn such cotton saris at some formal events but also at some finest of parties.
I loved the pom pom frills at the corners of this beautiful piece, which totally made it out of the box.

To define Divine, I'd speak about the choice of colorful pearls & stones. I could happily choose two shades in jewelry because of my versatile sari. I am wearing a sky blue colored heave stones choker which not only fits perfectly with the look, but is also enhancing my neck line. Following it, comes a trail of peach colored pearls which are falling gracefully over the chest area and how beautifully improving the plain fabric. I thought of adding yellow beads as well, then it could do a little injustice to the sari.
To define Bold, I'd take your attention to the thin strapped crop top that I replaced for a traditional blouse. It not only increased the hotness level but also went great with the choice of pearls and stones.

To define Beautiful, I want to talk about my favorite section "Make-up".
This time my favorite MUA decided to go with nude eyes and a little drama with lashes. Matching the shade of sari, she kept my eyes all rosy and serene. With a pair of thin falsies, she finished my eyes with single stroke of kajal to even out the edges.
With cheeks all blushy and highlighter on point, she did my lips in the combination of Pink and brown, which I totally loved.

The Quirky elements of this look is definitely the Black Adidas Sneakers and the rectangular black shades. A lot of great celebrities are talking and showing ways to break different taboos related to the traditional looks. Trust me I have tried wearing shoes under saris by myself and I felt the most comfortable and relieved then. Of course, shoes/sneakers aren't ideal matches for Sari, but definitely not something to throw away as an option.
Being a Blogger, I wanted to voice out a drama and quirkiness so added these sneakers and shades, and I personally loved it.

Lastly I want to talk about the most grounded team I worked with for this look. We had Mr. Shivam Birla who captured the entire scene and look so perfectly and graciously in his camera and I am really proud of his fresh talent. A good look isn't enough to mark a statement unless it has been projected perfectly on screen. I absolutely loved how he captured all the emotions and projected exactly what I thought of. Last but not the least I want to show my love for baby sister/crisis manager/friend "Soumya a.k.a. Geet" for being there and making sure each and every pose of mine goes perfect.

I hope this look has brought in a total different vibe from all of my other looks and we have more new looks and stories coming for you all.
So until then, stay tuned and Eat Healthy, Stay Happy, Be Trendy and Take Care,
Because this is What The World Says!
XOXO..
