They say that any feeling needs no language!
I completely second this thought as I find so much of connection in foreign words philosophies. Many things are important to us in this life, but none can beat the importance of self love and contentment.

You all must be wondering with the use of French phrase- "AMOUR-DE-SOI". This phrase really intrigued me because of its significance, this stands for Self love that humans share within themselves. It is a pure feeling which demands loving yourself but not on the interest of others.
Living in Central India gives us liberty to enjoy all the Indian seasons nicely. Madhya Pradesh looks spectacular in Monsoon season and thus leads to lot of destinations for weekend getaways. Indore city is so strategically placed that it takes few hours to get ourselves free from the routine hassles and surrender into arms of nature.
I always used to talk about rainy season, its significance, its effect on nature, its effect on our skin, fashion, food, but never felt its depth until now.

Me, and my team, were inspired with this kind of conceptual photography, so decided to give it a shot.
When I planned on doing this shoot, I was given advice to fake the concept by having little water sprinkled on the face to give that monsoon feel, and the rest feel can be brought by editing. I almost decked myself for the same until we got hit by thunders of rain. We were shooting indoors when we realized about the pouring outside. That was the moment we switched the shoot's profile and went ahead for the Monsoon Gatha. I planned these pictures to come out bearing all the possible emotions held inside a woman adhering Rains & for that going literal became mandatory.

I could give expressions enjoying the drizzles on my body in a fake environment but that would have been expressions from a professional not from an Influencer. I, alike everyone, need to feel a thing to completely understand, to EMOTE.

EMOTE was the state that we were looking for, through this photoshoot. This image gallery has gathered strong emotions of a woman who has been set free from herself. Each expression, I lived, I emoted, I felt, and I rose after that.
During the shoot, I had all the time to myself, thinking about myself, praising myself & loving myself. I felt my opinions going high, which at a point stopped me from validation and attention from the surroundings.

Monsoon is the season of revival, of rebirth, of renaissance.
It has the beauty that none can compare, the beauty of nature, of freedom that blossoms everywhere to the eyes reach.
Monsoon signifies new beginnings, of how the nature around us blooms to it’s beauty.

But not just nature, there is something about this season which frees the soul of us humans too.
As you feel those tiny drops of water on your skin, you feel alive.
This feeling sets us free of all the emotions taming our heart.
Monsoon brings positivity.
India is a country highly based & dependent on it’s rich agriculture. Rains are a blessing for all the farmers awaiting this season & all other Indians whose life depends on it.

Monsoon is the season of being free, unapologetically.
Indian women are usually portrayed as conservative & tamed by the rules of the society. Through this post we wanted to bust that myth by this intense photoshoot in the rain.

An Indian woman, just like women of every culture feels all the emotions that every other human does.
This photoshoot depicts the spectrum of all the emotions that the societal barriers puts on Indian women.

We are sexy.
We are liberating.
We are bold.
And most important of them all-
We are free.
Bidding goodbye to this beautiful monsoon with this beautiful quote by Eleanor Roosevelt.-
"Remember always that you not only have the right to be an individual, you have an obligation to be one.”
