I never knew talking and writing about food will be this much fun. I find this act really amusing as you are offered scrumptious meals to do your work.
Well, I am opting a peppy genre of writing in this post as it is about a dish which is termed as "A Permanent Partner, Even Above One's Love"- PIZZA!"
Indore Bloggers Association & Indori Zayka called out for a fun filled meet-up for the city bloggers at The Ground Baking & Co..
Let me first give details about this peppy pizza place The Ground Baking & Co.- A very cute pizza eatery serving my favorite New York style thin crust pizzas in the city. Also specialize in serving varieties of desserts & milkshakes. The pizzas have got different variants of size- 12", 16", 20" & marks this pizzeria serving the largest pizzas in the entire city.
We were given a mini tour of the kitchen by the Owner/Head Chef Mr. Prasun Jain, who brought so many interesting things to our knowledge. The dough used in making the authentic New York style crust, is freshly made by themselves in their own kitchen & this goes same with the variety of sauces.

We were served 2 homemade base sauces to taste- Basil pesto walnut sauce & Tomato sauce without onion & garlic.
They have got proper oven to ensure the perfect baking of the pizzas by maintaining right amount of temperature.
We were served little of all types of cheese that they source for this delicious range of pizzas.

The cheese served were Parmesan, Gouda, Cheddar, Mozzarella & Emmenthal, each had a peculiar taste.

Soon we were served Iced Tea as a welcome drink which was really authentic. Normally, Ice Tea tastes more of sugar less of tea because of the ready-made powdered sachet. But here, it was more of tea & tea only, the authentic one. It relieved us from the extreme hot temperature.
This meet-up had a special reason as we all gathered to celebrate the completion of 100K followers for Indori Zayka. To honor this celebration, Mr. Prasoon Joshi & his staff treated us with 5 varieties of pizzas & two mouth watering desserts.
Let us hop on the giant pizza's roller coaster-
1. 5 CHEESE PIZZA- The very first pizza served, made me swoon over its authentic taste.

I loved how brilliantly the crust was baked to the core. Evenly baked, this pizza had a perfect blend of 5 different cheese yet holding on to the authenticity. Mozzarella, Cheddar, Gouda, Emmenthal & Parmesan were rightly spread over the base & tasted incredible.
2. GREEK PIZZA- This pizza carried the same authenticity but tasted little salty to me as it had feta cheese as one of the toppings.

Greek pizza had black olives, feta, spinach, artichokes & a surprising element as walnut. The salty taste did not work for me but chunks of walnut made it up. This pizza should be on your Try-On list.
3. COUCH POTATO PIZZA- This pizza was something really new to my taste buds. Potato & Pizza never fall into one picture but then this happened.

Tenderly roasted rosemary potatoes were the attention grabber in this entire serving. Little sweetness of the potatoes played really well with emmenthal cheese, fennel & topped with balsamic reduction. We were served two variants of this pizza- with & without paprika. The paprika variant was bit spicy for me but tasted delicious with rosemary potatoes.
4. TRIO OF MUSHROOMS PIZZA-
"Wake Up & Smell Mushrooms" I keep Coffee & Mushroom at the same level.

I was waiting for this pizza to come on the table so that I could do romance with it. This mushroom loaded pizza had button mushrooms, shitake mushrooms & black fungus mushrooms perfectly tossed in butter olive oil and garlic. The black fungus leaves little sour taste on my tongue as I am not friendly with its taste. So do a small check of mushroom friendliness before ordering this pizza.
5. BIANCO PIZZA- This was a cheese-loaded-fresh herbed-pizza.

An extremely gorgeous looking pizza was dressed with Rocket leaves (in a citrus vinaigrette), cream cheese sauce, smoked paprika, button mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, fennel & Parmesan cheese. Just a bite of it took me on a pleasure drive. I really loved how each of the ingredients were properly coming out and tasted so delicious & fresh. Never had a pizza so fresh & green in my life.
DESSERT-
I gave up, as soon as we were done with the pizza tasting but then the desserts were announced.
CRÈME BRÛLÉE- An interesting dessert with an interesting composition.

This hard layered dessert had an extremely soft & creamy custard pudding inside that tasted marvelous. The smooth custard had a hard caramelized layer that tasted little like caramel eclairs. I was really impressed with this dessert as it had a strange & unique composition.

A token of good wishes from GBC in the form of a delicious MILK & BERRIES CAKE was cherry on the top. It tasted just perfect and gave our meet-up a sweet climax.

I will wrap up this post by giving very peppy & sweet points to The Ground Baking & co. and its menu. We had a deliciously engaging meet-up & all thanks to Mr. Prasun Jain for being really welcoming and entertaining.
