Hello everyone, I am really surprised how quickly time is passing by, cannot really hold on to a pattern. February is getting really versatile by introducing amazing trends, both in Interior and Fashion market.
I have been crushing over many latest trends and through this post I am speaking about one.
METALLIC is the current language being used by interior stylists and fashion stylists as well. As far as I can see, metals are spreading a hot vibe across the line. Being an Interior Stylist professionally, I gradually get dragged towards the latest trends and my Fashion conscience demands to blend it up.
So the idea behind this photo shoot was to create a fierce blend of fashion and decor through metallic finishes. If talk about the decor part, metals are undoubtedly taking a lead this year.
This post is quite personal to me, both in fashion and decor sense. All my fashion posts stay personal as I play with my own wardrobe. This time I am not using any outside reference to project my decor thoughts, all these pieces belongs to me, my home.
I want to reflect how metallic/chrome pieces are trending and the perfect example is showing through my own collection.This metal piece is my favorite and captures a beautiful place in my bedroom. Metal pieces infuses life to a very sober and decent corner.
Chrome pieces are not restricted to solid form, beautiful cushions and curtains are definitely marking a remarkable statement.
This year will be taking a little break from the crystal chandeliers, because these vivacious light fixtures are going to rule magnificently.

Fashion Industry has welcomed the Metallic trend with wide arms open. A lot of celebrities are crushing over this trend recently. This has come with a bang in the form of high waist palazzo pants, pleated skirts, body con dresses, and of course tops.
This super chic wrap-around palazzo was in my collection since a long time and now I feel extremely joyful in showcasing it to the world. This has a sheer metallic finish all over with a true chrome color, credit goes to its self satin fabric.
Normally, metallic blue and slate copper does not go well as partnering colors, but the beauty of a stylist lies in breaking the routine. So I paired this round-collared satin top with the pants as both had a common metallic reflection. But this does not mean that any metallic color can be combined with a random one, It should compliment the other.
Metallic is ruling the world of accessories as well. right from my statement metallic-fur-danglers, to chrome rings, to jeweled envelope clutch. The "Dream-Catcher" danglers (name given by me), plays pretty well with my overall outfit. Metallic nails are gearing up back to be in the trend. Also, cannot forget to mention how much metallic make-up is seizing the limelight at all the global fashion carpets.
Both my decor and fashion urge were satisfied as I was able to pull out a perfect blend through my clothes and home accessories. Adore this latest Metallic trend both in your wardrobe and home and you will definitely grab the most attention.
