PERKS OF BEING HERE- One beautiful island nation near to our nation was a perk to us. Very much similar to India in its different way, that is how I found Sri Lanka to be.

We chose the above three mentioned destinations for some genuine reasons.

Kandy for a hill top experience, Bentota for a beachy experience, and Colombo for the city shade experience.

THEVA RESIDENCY in Kandy was an eye candy, and we chose to stay in its exclusive penthouse that marked a tremendous spot. The penthouse had just few concrete walls, rest all just reflected transparency to the outer world.

I could spend my entire life sitting through one of the glass edges, and adore the beauty. This property, particularly, was not a huge one to be honest, but it had the elements that we were looking for.

The exclusivity of this particular penthouse was its individuality. You need to book this place for yourself way early, because this Gem is just one to get..

Soft drizzles enhanced the beauty, as the landscape was hardly visible, thanks to the lovely dense clouds all over.

If you are a vegan, then you definitely need to put yourself out on the plate to get served. :-/ They will try to make you eat what you have desired, but options stayed really minimal for me.

I hope I explained myself really better for the food section availability.;)

DRIVE TO BENTOTA- After a beautiful 3 hours drive, we reached Bentota to discover Sri Lanka's beaches.

What a soothing property "The Villa" was. I was one unique private beach side hotel with amazing interiors. Sri Lanka’s first boutique hotel converted in the 1970s by world-renowned architect.

The view with sun downing effect. The lit lights were coming out our room.

View from the room was indeed captivating.

How interesting the way to beach was from our hotel. One strange thing or say unique things about this place is that you can find the railway line passing across the entire place, like we had in the backyard of our hotel and many big properties have it passing through their entrances.

I discovered that beaches are not just same concept everywhere, every beach is unique in its own way.

DRIVE TO COLOMBO- Drive for colombo was pretty exciting as we got to see the true Sri Lankan life.

Colombo, being the capital of the country, holds back a lot of monumental history. The old parliament building is one incredible building to watch, especially with its location. Colombo has got great shopping places to satisfy the inner urges.

CASA COLOMBO-

This boutique hotel in Colombo is 12 suite retro-chic theme based den. A significant part of creating this amazing boutique hotel involved restoring the building back to its former grandeur.

The most interesting information that I found out about this place is that it was built by one of the wealthiest Indian trading family of that time. Since the hotel is restored, you will no rooms having alike features at all and this is the exclusivity of this place.

The incredible bar here in the hotel is a must try, perfect blend of music and drinks are served here.

Though this impressive building, which has been converted to one of the trendiest boutique hotels in Colombo is 200 years old, the technology remains cutting edge giving a tough competition to all other hotels in Colombo.
